Best Western Port St. Lucie

It was barely an okay stay. The toilet kept clogging, and I had to get a plunger from the office, which doesn’t open until 6:30. I came away with what I think was fungus from the carpet, and the bedding smelled like saliva, as if it had been left by the last guest. The towel and rag holders weren’t secure either. The main lobby shuts at night, so there was no coffee or anything available there. Smoking is supposedly banned on the property, yet some trash bins have cigarette trays on top. I hadn’t planned to complain, but then I was charged $150 for smoking, which I honestly didn’t do.

Toni at the front desk was really sweet and helpful, and the hotel felt cozy and clean. The location was good too. I had a small problem with the Wi-Fi password, so I called the Best Western 24/7 line on New Year’s Eve. Someone answered right away, with no wait. Great help from the phone team as well. 10/10.

It’s hard to find an affordable hotel that takes care of its property, and Best Western does. Our three-night stay was great. The rooms, grounds, and pool area were all immaculate. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

That bed is the reason I’ll go out of my way to come back. The Best Western Port St. Lucie at 7900 S US Highway 1, Port Saint Lucie, FL, is a real find for someone like me who needs room to work, relax, and recharge. The suites are huge and feel like a bargain. There’s space to spread out, a desk, and two TVs, one in the living area and another in the bedroom. The team made a big impression too. Front desk staff remembered my name after one visit, and maintenance were cheerful and quick to help. They know the area and gave thoughtful recommendations for nearby food and things to do, which is useful when you’re in a new city every week. The property is clean, quiet, and well looked after, with easy access to I-95 and the Turnpike. Breakfast is free and solid when you’re heading out, and the outdoor pool is a nice extra after a long day. In all my time on the road, it’s rare to find somewhere that makes me want to return. Five stars, highly recommended for work or pleasure in Port St. Lucie.
