Deresha, the head of housekeeping, was a pure gem and very accommodating, and Marie at breakfast was pleasant and helpful. Sadly, the rest of our stay was a different story. We came as a family with cousins, our niece and grandson on April 7th. We'd been staying here for nearly seven years because the staff used to be pleasant and we enjoyed it. This time, our room wasn't cleaned: on day two, towels were still on the floor and garbage was full. One cleaning lady we saw didn't seem happy to be working. We called the desk, then later reported that the kitchen light was out. It took a day and a half to fix. When we called again to explain the problems, we were told we had too many issues and “we had to leave.” We went down to talk to the desk and got the same response. I've never been told to leave a hotel in my life, and the front desk staff seemed unwilling to help or do their jobs. At check-in, the TV remote wasn't working right, so I called. The front desk manager sounded annoyed when I explained that the screen showed boxes, and asked me to describe what I saw instead of coming up to fix it. We won't stay here again. WE WILL NEBER BE BACK HERE.

The pool setup was a nice surprise, with a covered spot, comfy couches, a TV, and a gas grill. Fresh brewed coffee was also available in the lobby around the clock. In the room, the bed was comfortable and everything felt clean and spacious. The AC worked well, and I liked having power and USB outlets on both sides of the bed. The bathroom had a nightlight, and the Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner were products I like. My only gripe was the shower pressure, which was a bit low. Prices were reasonable, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

The breakfast area was pleasant, with good food and plenty of it, and parking was easy to find. But our stay had some real ups and downs. The double room suite we first checked into was advertised for five, yet one of its two drawers was broken, there were no closet rods, the main TV didn't work, and there was no phone. At 3:05 pm, just after the 3 pm check-in, the clerk said maintenance had left and he'd only add the problems to the notes. He also said no other suite was available and all three double suites were identical. Then, by the elevator, we met two friendly women, one of them the manager, and she soon moved us to another suite that had none of those issues. She waived the cost of one night for the inconvenience. The next afternoon, we had no hot or warm water. The same clerk said he'd received another call and suggested letting it run because too many people might have turned on the water at once. After 10-25 minutes, it still wasn't hot. If you decide to stay, I'd check the room first and ask for the manager if anything's wrong. That male clerk wasn't pleasant or truthful.

The price is hard to beat, especially compared with other places nearby, and I'd stay again. I was there about a week while working on a local project. The rooms were fairly clean, the beds were comfortable, and everyone on staff we dealt with was helpful and polite. The main problem was that there was no hot water in the early morning, when we usually got back to the hotel at the same time. We had to wait until I woke up around 10 or 11 am to shower, when the water would be hot.
