The staff were friendly, and the location was handy for Thompson's Point. That's about all that went well. We were there four nights, and our room was never cleaned, though a card said they clean every three days. No one took out the trash, changed towels, made the beds, or refilled the soap. By checkout I had filled a Hefty bag from my car with the garbage. The rooms were dingy and need updates, and the double rooms have full-size beds, not queens. A broken lock also kept us out for over two hours with our two toddlers. Staff fixed it and offered lip service about a room credit that never came through.

My room and the staff were nice, and they gave me all the coffee I needed. They did accidentally charge me for an extra night, but after I raised the issue, they refunded me the next day. That's why I'd stay again. Accountability is rare these days, and I trust a business that fixes a mistake more than one that says it never makes them.

If the other hotels nearby hadn't been full, we would've moved. Our reservation was for two adjoining rooms, but when we arrived, we were told the property had no adjoining rooms and were put on separate floors. The hotel is dated, and the rooms are even more so than the lobby. One room had a smoky, musty smell that lingered through the stay. Neither room was clean: both had moldy shower curtains, and there were blood spots on the sheets in the second room. They said service happened every three nights, but during our five-night visit the rooms were never cleaned. The sheets were rough, and all the doors slammed on their own. The elevators seemed unreliable, and the back one repeatedly wouldn't open on the third floor. Given what we got, I expected the stay to cost less than $100.

We were assigned this hotel by the nearby hospital and stayed four nights. Some of the service was friendly and helpful, but a few mean, unfriendly people can ruin the whole experience. If you get sick here, use whatever paper products you can find to clean up. Their washcloths are VERY expensive. We needed another night for my husband's recovery, but after I complained about the cost of two washcloths and the charge being taken from my card without discussing it with us, we were told to leave. Apparently, complaining about the price could get you evicted.
