Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel

This is one of Portland’s best hotels, with great customer service and free shuttle service around the clock. The rides are fast, safe, reliable, and available whenever and wherever you need to go. Please tip the drivers, though. They rely on tips to make a living. TIP, TIP, TIP! :)

I was impressed by how smoothly the Slavic Bridal Show was organized at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. The hotel's event space looked lovely, and the catering was a highlight, with plenty of tasty choices. Staff were friendly and polite throughout, which made the experience easy. I’d highly recommend this venue for hosting or attending an event.

The lobby made a lovely impression, with luxurious Christmas decorations that gave the whole place a warm, upscale holiday feel. We stayed one night after a long travel day, and it was exactly the reset we needed. The pillows were unbelievably comfortable, please sell them in the gift shop! And the shower pressure felt like a proper water massage after six hours on a plane. 10/10 for comfort and the softest landing at PDX.

The room was clean, including the floors, beds, and furniture, and the lobby, restaurant, and lounge were clean too. The lounge had a decent selection of quick-service food, which came in handy before our flight. The shuttle was quick and easy both ways, with no advance booking or long wait needed. On the return, the driver accidentally left our bags at the Hampton next door, but he noticed right away, apologized, and drove back to get them. We chose the Park & Stay option for a night before flying out of PDX, hoping for an easier morning with my family. It did make the trip simpler, and overall the stay was okay. Still, the room needs a serious update. It looked dated, one headboard light had been removed and left an ugly gap, and the ceilings in both the room and bathroom were discolored and stained. The gap under the door was big enough to peek through, so we pushed a towel against it for a bit more security. I expected a little more from the Sheraton name, and hope the hotel gets the renovation it needs.
