The hotel has a classy, traditional look with a touch of modern style, and the rooms were clean. The shower and bathroom were amazing. There are great stores nearby, including Nordstrom, and the location overall is great. The amenities were good, the gym was a nice place to sweat it out, and Swine had good options for snacks before going out for the evening. Staff at both the hotel and Swine were wonderful. Yes, we’ll stay again.

We had a great weekend stay in December 2025, and we’ll definitely return on our next trip to Portland. The location is excellent, near MAX, the Snitzer, and great restaurants. The rooms are reasonably priced, there are no resort or amenity fees, and there’s a good parking garage next door. I would’ve given five stars if the room had an in-room coffee maker. The hot water also took a long time to heat up, though that may have been specific to our room.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. We felt safe and were close to everything we wanted to see. We got an affordable nightly rate through hotels.com. There were a couple of snags: no body soap had been left when we checked in, so we had to call the front desk, and valet was the only parking option, at $60 a night.

I was hoping for a hotel room with a nice bathroom, and the executive king room exceeded my expectations. The bathtub was huge, and the walk-in shower got hot very quickly. The bed was extremely comfortable, and being able to adjust the room temperature was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

The room was nice, but I left feeling rubbed the wrong way by how the front desk handled a small request. I’d paid $170 for the room and skipped the $60-a-night valle parking, choosing a side street spot about 100 feet from the hotel entrance instead. Before leaving the next morning, I sat in my car for over 30 minutes with the headlights on and drained the battery. That was entirely my fault, and I needed a jump. When I returned my hotel keys, I politely asked whether they had jumper cables or a battery pack, and explained what had happened. The attendants’ first question was whether I had paid for the $60 valle parking. I said I hadn’t, and they told me they had no jumpers. It made me wonder whether the answer would have been different if I’d paid for valet. If they simply had no way to help, they could have said so. My car was closer than it would have been in their VIP garage, so distance didn’t seem to be the issue.
