The Press Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection

Rachel at the front desk made our girls’ trip feel extra special, arranging sparkling wine in the room and moving us to a bigger one. Everyone was kind and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and well located. Can’t wait to return!

We were upgraded on the second night to a corner room with a huge soaking tub, which was especially welcome while an ice storm kept us from exploring. The lovely room and the amazing UNION restaurant downstairs made up for that. The bathrooms are my favorite part of the hotel, they feel so luxurious. My partner and I were there last weekend for our anniversary, and this was another great stay. We’ve been to the Press several times, and the thoughtful service and location keep bringing us back. At check-in we were welcomed with champagne and a beautiful room. I also love that even the standard guest rooms are lovely and seem just as thoughtfully put together as the larger ones. Thanks to the Press. We’ll be back!

The food from the Union restaurant was TO DIE FOR, and our bartender and wait staff took great care of us while keeping to the budget we’d set. We also stayed in one of the luxury suites, which made the whole evening even more special. We held our elopement ceremony in a private room at The Press. With only a couple of months’ notice, we weren’t expecting to find the room we wanted, but somehow we did. Our planning manager Haly was key to making the experience even better than we could have planned, and the staff were amazing and supportive. We’ll definitely visit again, maybe for an anniversary. I have nothing but good things to say.

The room was spacious and nice, with a comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable, and the location was convenient for everything we wanted to do. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, though it looked lovely. The heating and cooling in our room didn’t seem to work very well. We set the thermostat to 66 for sleeping, but the temperature never dropped below 68, while the hallways stayed cool. A few nights we opened the window for some crisp fall air. I didn’t tell the front desk, though I would have if we’d stayed longer. We had a great October stay for our wedding anniversary and would stay here again when we’re back in the area.
