Hotel Lucia

The location worked well for us, with most places of interest within a 30-minute walk. The continental breakfast was simple, elegant, and delicious. Our room was clean, the property well maintained, and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

Hotel Lucia is in a heritage building downtown, in a really convenient spot. I had a great stay. The room was clean and the things in it were handy. Morning coffee and hot cocoa were such a treat. There are plenty of food options nearby, and I could rely on both Uber and public transportation to get to tourist sites. Couldn’t ask for more!

We loved being right downtown, and that made our first visit to Portland interesting. The room was small but thoughtfully designed, though the bathroom sink should be smaller to suit the tight space. They’re going for a distinctive style, but that detail missed the mark. At first our card had an issue, and the woman at the front desk seemed surly and unwilling to help, like we weren’t a good fit. The card got sorted out, but she didn’t mention breakfast. There wasn’t a sign, and she only told us there was coffee in the lobby. We found the breakfast room the next morning while walking around looking at the art.

Loved the location, the room design had a great vibe, and the staff were amazing. The cocktail hour and little free arcade were great too.
