The Ritz-Carlton, Portland

Puccini, our four-legged family member, got a warm welcome and a memorable stay of his own. They even offer a doggy menu for room service. The Ritz-Carlton Portland was a perfect setting for a special city visit, with standout service and spacious, beautifully designed rooms after the renovation. The whole experience felt elevated.

I’m so grateful to the entire RC Portland team for the care, inclusivity, and attention to detail that made Eid so meaningful. The view of Mt. Hood from my room was stunning, and I’ve included pictures of the welcome. I can’t wait to return. I visited Portland for the first time near the end of March to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, after Ramadan. Before arriving, I’d exchanged emails with Charlotte Andersen, who asked about the details of my visit. I told her I was coming for Eid, but had no idea what awaited me. When I entered my room, the RC team had prepared the warmest welcome. There was a personal card wishing me Eid Mubarak, Ramadan and Eid treats, and thoughtful gifts from the spa. I was speechless, and among all the beauty Portland has to offer, this gesture was easily the most memorable part of my trip. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Anderson and Ms. Rapaport in Guest Relations for going above and beyond, and to Emily Chalin at the spa for the lovely gifts and touching note. I’ll always remember this experience.

My husband ran the Portland marathon, and the whole family loved the pool and made lots of friends there. I only wish there were a kids’ area. The room was clean, and the lounge view showed downtown Portland with fall colors scattered around. Every person we met was helpful and friendly, and the personal touches made the stay amazing. The staff were great, and we can’t wait to come back!

Saralee and Mei Mei at the club were the highlight of our stay. They made us feel special from the first interaction, and their presence gave the club such a warm, welcoming feel. I really appreciate their hard work, they’re the epitome of hospitality. The Ritz Carlton Portland is a beautiful, relatively new property. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious with great views, and had two bathrooms, one full bath and one powder room. There were a few bumps during the stay, but the team worked efficiently to make things right.
