Four days before the George Strait concert, we learned there was no room for us, and the room insurance won't be refunded. My mom had booked two rooms back in December for that Friday night. We'd planned this trip months ahead, and now we're out two rooms for an event nearly 10 hours from home that's been completely sold out. The communication from the hotel was horrible. I'm very upset. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else after they've planned a trip so far in advance.

A super friendly lady checked me in, and the room was tidy, well laid out, and very well cared for. It's nicer than most motels in this category, with a great location. It was also nice and safe to back my car right up to the door. One of the best of these lovely, old budget-friendly motels.

I travel for work and had to stay here long term with my pets and belongings. I clean my own room since I'm living in it temporarily, but staff came in every day, so I had to kennel my animals all day. They sprayed baby powder and cleaning products that were overwhelming, turned off my heat each day when it was cold, unplugged my things, called and knocked constantly. You can't cook in the rooms, and it was dirty even with them coming in daily. My deadbolt didn't work, and I could see light through the door, like it had been kicked in or something and never repaired. I felt very unsafe and dirty there. I would not recommend it.

The owners were kind and understanding, and let me enjoy myself without restrictions, even though my plans didn't work out. I stayed for 3 days, and it was peaceful. The room was good for the price. They didn't know me at all, but still treated me genuinely. For me, it comes down to how you treat people. I'd definitely recommend this place!
