That private patio and its view were fantastic. The King room was roomy, clean, comfortable, and nicely put together, with lots of lighting choices and furniture in great shape. We stayed two nights, and check-in was easy, though you should check the front desk hours. The mini fridge and freezer worked well, the water got hot with good pressure, and the heat was so effective I had to turn it way down. There’s even a bathroom heater aimed at the shower. You can hear the highway, so bring earplugs if you need quiet to sleep. I couldn’t use a streaming device because the TVs are locked down, but there are cable channels. For the price, it’s a really good place, and I’d happily stay again.

The view was really nice to wake up to, and our room in the main building was clean. The woman at check-in was very kind. I’d stay there again when I’m working in the area.

The shoreline was a highlight for us. Pebble beach access has been improved, though the surface can be slippery at low tide, so take care. We enjoyed watching otters, seals, fish, and eagles. We spent two nights this week at the property, which also has cabins and many RV spots with power and water hookups. I didn’t see a grey water discharge. I’m not sure why “Resort” is in the business name, since there’s no pool, tub, gazebo, or anything else that suggests one. Our room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a private balcony and a hood Canal view. Most rooms have kitchenettes with a good-sized fridge and microwave, but ours had no dishes or cutlery, even though dish soap was there. We also couldn’t find any extra toilet paper. Hot water was plentiful once we let it run long enough. The beds were okay, medium-firm and a bit squeaky, not plush. My wife used pillows from the other bed to get comfortable. Electronics put a lot of green lights in the room, and traffic on US101 was audible at all hours. The community room breakfast is no longer available; it’s behind a keypad now. WiFi worked fine, and we didn’t try the TV. Parking is free with a permission tag. Staff recommended Tides Family restaurant on 101, which was great for breakfast. Booking.com with incentives came out cheaper for me than booking directly on the property’s website. There aren’t any shops within walking distance, and walking along uS 101 seems dangerous, so having a vehicle is best.

The sunrise over the lake was amazing, and I could see it right from my room. It’s a wonderful location, with quiet rooms and a lovely view.

We were completely satisfied. The canal view was beautiful, the place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
