Quality Inn - Pottstown

We never stayed the night. The front desk gentleman was polite, but the place looked run down and dirty, with the pool covered and the lobby seemingly under renovation. There was no sign out front, and nobody had told us the hotel had changed owners from Quality Inn to red roof inn. What we found wasn't close to the pictures or what we thought we'd booked.

That bed was huge and really comfortable. The room was clean, and the sheets and towels were fine. The heater took a little while to start, then the air felt moderate. The Manager or Owner was courteous and polite. Checkmate!

We stopped here on the way from Philly to State College and were pleasantly surprised by the room for such a cheap rate. It seemed like the place had been renovated, and our room was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was decent, and there's a laundry facility too. The website says pets are welcome, but when we arrived, a sign said no pets allowed.

The last night, people in the next room were loud from 2:00am to 3:00am, and there was nobody around to settle things. The bed felt slanted, so I couldn't sleep well. The pool was closed, and its water was dirty. There's only one ice machine in the whole building, on the second floor. I've stayed at campgrounds better than this. The price was high for such cheap service. Do not recommend.
