Cathy, our room attendant, saved the day when I lost a family ring from my great great grandfather. It was 150 years old and couldn’t be replaced. The ring fell off in the room, and I freaked out. I called the hotel and spoke with Tammy, who told me to call back in an hour. I was back there 45 minutes later, and Cathy had found it. I can’t thank her enough; she was amazing. She got a nice fat finder’s fee, and it was the best money I ever spent. Thank you, Miss Cathy, from the bottom of my heart. You’re the best.

Liz, who works breakfast, is very nice and always smiling, which is nice to see. My kids also really enjoy the indoor pool and gym. The staff here are always friendly and accommodating, and I have a good experience every time I come. I’ll keep coming back.

We stayed one night with family, and as people who have visited many Hampton inn hotels, we can say this one is badly outdated and needs renovation. The rooms near the lobby look refreshed, but that impression disappears once you get into the elevator. Both elevator cars seem like they must be 40yo, with creaking, rusty doors and dated, dirty tile floors. I couldn’t find a clearly posted inspection schedule, so I wondered when they were last inspected. The 2nd floor hallways look just as dated, with carpets straight out of 1994 and paint that’s peeling and chipped.

The location is convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining nearby, and the front desk staff were friendly. But I’m a woman and felt unsafe getting out of my car to check in, even in daylight, with too many men lingering around the parking lot and lobby. The room had a musty, stinky foot odor as soon as I entered. It was terribly dated, with peeling wallpaper, sticky carpet even with shoes on, and a rusted door frame. The towels and washcloths were dingy enough that I had to buy my own at a store. They looked as though someone had walked barefoot outside, rinsed their feet, then washed them. There was mold inside the bathroom sink rim, and the very old shower had been patched up from mold. This hotel is hanging on by a thread. Just renovate it, for crying out loud! I’m only staying because this was a corporate booking for three days. If it were a personal visit, I’d have checked out immediately. It’s giving motel 6 on a Vegas strip.
