It’ll do for one night if you just need somewhere to sleep, but it wasn’t the worst place and definitely wasn’t the best. The floors had crumbs, hair, and other gross stuff everywhere, so I’d keep shoes on in the room. Walls were banged up, and the bedding and shower towels were stained, with cigarette burns in the bedding. Bring your own towel.

The room felt pretty bare and plain, and breakfast was limited. The people were very nice, though.

The overnight man was helpful and cool, but check-in with the lady was rough. She seemed in a bad mood, and when I ate dinner at a lobby table, I saw her looking angry before she came over and told me I’d better clean up afterward. Later, I had to deal with a grumpy woman when I asked for a pool towel, and the pool area needs towels. The room itself was clean, though the drapes left it smelling old and closed-in. Front desk staff should make guests feel welcome and provide excellent customer service. 3 star

The heated pool was clean, and our room was tidy, though the older plumbing meant the toilet didn’t always flush properly. We paid $20 extra when booking for a room with continental breakfast included, but when our group came down at 8:02am the next morning, breakfast had already been shut down. Nobody explained why or offered a refund. It seemed like they might close it depending on occupancy, which is fine, but charging for a service and then not providing it isn’t. The only machine available was for coffee. A staff member said, “Breakfast is closed” while holding a gallon of milk. I politely asked if I could put some in my coffee and got a curt “It’s closed.” You can’t count on the posted breakfast hours.
