GreenTree Inn of Prescott Valley

For my multi-day wrestling event, the location worked well, about four minutes from the Findlay Toyota Center and near lots of fast food. Sharing a parking lot with a Denny’s was handy too. It’s a budget motel without frills, but it was well kept and met the price expectations. The room was clean and seemed well maintained, with freshly cleaned-smelling carpet. Everything felt safe and orderly. The bed and pillows were very soft, which might not be for everyone.

The floor was so dirty that I had to keep my shoes on, and there was hardly room to move. My dog only wanted to stay on the bed because the room was so small. These problems made me leave after one night and cancel the second night. I tried to work things out with the hotel staff, but they offered no reasonable solution or compensation. They said I needed to cancel 24 hours ahead, but that wasn’t in the booking terms. I understand being charged for one night regardless of the reason, but it’s completely unacceptable that I couldn’t get a refund for the second night after staying only one. Who would have thought this hotel was so unreliable? Everyone should be careful.

It was clean and quiet, and mildly pricey, though what hotel isn’t. I have OCD and get paranoid really easily, but the thick walls, doors close to the ground, and three separate locks helped settle that feeling.

I found a hair in my breakfast and nobody seemed to care. I was only trying to suggest they use hair nets, and they said it had never happened before. First time for everything, I guess. Gross, nasty people from the front desk to meal prep. I wish they’d let me upload the picture.
