The staff were friendly and answered my questions, and the internet worked well. I also had good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. My room was clean, with clean linens, updated furnishings, no ceiling watermarks, and no sign of bugs. The spring bed felt too stiff for my taste, but it was fine for a night on a trip across the state. The place is easy to reach just off I-30, and truck parking for oversized loads is across the street within walking distance. A decent stay for a reasonable rate.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Just know the front desk is unattended, so you have to ring a bell.

The room felt old, cheap, and outdated, and we paid far too much for these conditions. The beds were hard, the pillows flat, and there was no comforter. The sheets had holes and stains. Lighting was awful, with no lamps, and wires were hanging out of the wall where a smoke detector should be. There was no tub stopper, and daylight showed around the front door. Housekeeping came banging and opening the door well before checkout. Never again.

Room 121, where I was first placed, had bedbugs. They moved me to room 106, and that one was clean.

The gentleman at the desk was pleasant and really accommodating, and the free coffee in the lobby was perfect. I stayed in two different rooms last week, and both were super clean even though this is an older hotel. The sheets were crisp and clean, the towels fresh, and the inside of the room fridge was clean too. I plan to stay again soon.
