Super 8 By Wyndham Princeton

The place reeks of cheap air freshener, the pool is dirty, and the whole property looks like it hasn't been updated in years. This isn't a SUPER 8, and it hasn't been one for years. It's owned by a company in India called Oyo and has been renamed "Super Sleep." They're using this listing to catfish people. Might as well call it "Super Cheap" because you get what you pay for.

The room was clean, and we had a pleasant, quiet stay. It did feel dated, and the bed seemed worn out. Breakfast was only muffins and coffee, so not much to speak of. The front desk guy was nice, though it isn't staffed at night. You have to ring the doorbell and wait for someone to come out.

The beds were clean and comfortable, though wear was easy to see when looking across them. The bathroom and sink area were both tiny. In the room, a power strip was hanging beside the mini-fridge with several things plugged into it, which seemed unsafe. Even though we had non-smoking rooms, the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke, right from the front door.

The bed was good, and the place was fine if you just need somewhere to sleep. But we paid more online than the room actually cost at the hotel, and there were some problems in the room: a hole in the bathroom door, big cracks in the flooring, and moldy leftover food on the floor. The breakfast is basically strawberry yogurt and banana muffins, so bring your own drinks. It was decent, but I probably wouldn't stay again.
