Hilton Garden Inn Providence

The room was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bed, and I slept well. Having a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker there was a plus. Getting an Uber all the way to the hotel was a little awkward, and drivers dropped us on the street out front. On departure, I was told they could come through the gate and get 15 minutes free, but none of the drivers seemed to know about it. Still, it’s a great hotel and that wouldn’t stop me staying.

The room had a beautiful harbor view, and the welcome at reception was a great start. They treated me like a valued customer and gave me a thoughtful gift bag. I also enjoyed a delicious drink at the bar. Breakfast wasn’t included, and I wasn’t sure I’d be hungry, but it turned out to be amazing, with both continental and buffet choices. The server was a delight. The Sicilian bartender was cheerful and so pleasant, he made my night. He deserves a promotion!

We stayed two nights with my husband and daughter while she took part in a group tournament at Rhode Island Convention center. The hotel was clean and well organized, with a beautiful view near the lake. The front desk wasn’t friendly when we arrived, and the information was unclear, which left a poor first impression. But Jasonte, the customer service manager, apologized and handled things kindly. They took good care of us after that and offered complimentary breakfast, which we appreciated. It was delicious, and the breakfast staff were lovely, always checking if we needed anything. That turned my impression around. I love the place and its staff.

Jasmine, Angelo & Araceylz were accommodating and helpful with hotel recommendations and complimentary offers. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. I love the location, right by a nice park and restaurants. Thanks, guys, and thanks Hilton.
