Salt House Inn

The Palmer House is lovely, and my own private patio was all I needed when I wanted some fresh air. I was so comfortable there that I kept putting off wandering the streets of Provincetown. The place feels immersed in Provincetown’s history, and it’s beautiful and quiet. It’s a charming, well-appointed, unique historic artist studio, with room for friends if you want to share. And when you do feel like going out, everything Provincetown has to offer is just steps away. Its location is perfect, and it gets wonderful service from its sibling, the lovely and impeccable Salt House Inn. What can I say about P-Town’s best kept secret? Part of me wishes it would stay one.

We’ve traveled extensively around the world, and our stay at the Salt Inn was memorable, even though it was short. The room felt homey and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the breakfast room were stylishly presented, and the service was friendly and attentive. Great job, steve! Can a small inn be world-class? Yes, this one can, and is.

The free breakfast was luxurious, and when I arrived they even gave me a mini bottle of champagne. The staff were the friendliest, and there were great little touches throughout. It’s quiet and comfortable. Truly the most perfect place to stay in Provincetown.

I can’t wait to visit again after another amazing stay at Salt House. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and beautiful. That was the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast was sumptuous, and the afternoon glass of rose was a welcome bonus. Thanks for the fabulous weekend.
