The rooms are scary, and I wouldn’t recommend going here. I saw cockroaches all over, and the rooms are always dirty. I think they rarely vacuum, and I’m pretty sure they don’t change sheets or pillowcases unless they look extremely dirty. They couldn’t care less. There are never refunds or discounts. Some bathroom doors don’t shut, and some are missing altogether. The lighting is random and horrible. Some rooms have tables but no chairs, while others have chairs but no tables. There’s nothing within walking distance, and they don’t offer vending machines, just one broken soda machine. The owners are the cheapest people ever. This is the worst hotel in Provo, Utah. I have no idea how they’re allowed to stay in business.

The location is amazing, just one block from the temple and close to everything. The rooms are roomy, the staff are very friendly, and they’re fixing the place up. It’s a great spot, as long as people know it isn’t a Hilton or anything and don’t arrive with outrageous expectations.

Max, the property manager, refused me service, saying, “You are Difiicult,” and called the police because I had a guest in my room. There was also a LAZER pointed at my door that would trigger as soon as the DOOR opened. They didn’t refund any of my CASH $$$ deposit held at the front desk. I was also shot at by a high-powered automatic weapon during my stay.

I completely missed the sign in the lot saying violators would be towed, so the parking mistake was entirely on me. Still, after only 15 minutes, someone at the dealership next door asked if my car was the one being towed, just as it was leaving the lot, which wasn’t even close to full. I’d taken my 17-year-old son to the dealership, and we were fortunate that the dealer drove us to the tow yard, 20 minutes away. Getting the car back cost me $310, a very stiff penalty. Did the punishment fit the crime? You be the judge.

The room was filthy and in terrible shape, with bugs and unsafe electrical issues. Dust about an inch thick covered everything, including the packed outlets. The bed I slept in had someone else’s hair, and the towels looked old and dirty. The shower was deplorable and looked like it had never been cleaned. The outlets were old and rusty, painted over instead of replaced or updated. When I tried to complain at checkout in the morning, the desk clerk took almost five minutes to unlock the door and obviously didn’t care what I said. I left unsatisfied, which I expected. The health department needs to be involved. Anyone who cares about their well-being should avoid this place at all costs. Sleep in your car, you’re better off.
