Everything was clean and organized, and they seem to be updating the furniture and bedding. The carpet does make the rooms feel darker and dated. My dogs and I had a good stay, and there's a grassy spot outside for dogs with poop bags available. I visit Utah County often enough that I'd consider coming back. The reason I picked this place was the promise of coffee and tea around the clock, and they really are available 24/7. Breakfast had yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, toast and bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, waffles, juice in cranberry, apple and orange, plus fresh fruit. Cinnamon's there too if you like it in your coffee or tea. A couple of things bothered me: the room smelled like baby barf, and I had to swipe the key several times, especially at the outside doors.

My husband and I are retired, and I'm disabled. We have two well-behaved chihuahuas who are service dogs. On a budget cross-country trip to see our daughter, we booked Sleep Inn through Priceline Pay Later on January 21, 2026, for $93.79. The billing was confusing and stressful. Unlike our previous Motel 6 stay, which Priceline had fully paid without a problem, Sleep Inn charged my card when we arrived. The clerk said he would charge the Priceline price of $93.79 and also put a $50 hold on the card for incidentals, to be released in 7-10 days if all was well. When I asked for a receipt, he didn't give me one. Later I saw two charges in my bank account, $143.79 and $50. I went back to ask what they were and request a receipt, but the clerk said I'd get it at checkout. An hour later, another $93.79 charge appeared. Those three holds left me with much less available money and caused a lot of worry while traveling. I'm still waiting for the charges to clear. The unclear process and lack of communication were unacceptable, especially for seniors or people traveling on a tight budget. SleepInn and Priceline should make their billing policies clearer. Elderly and disabled travelers should be cautious about booking here. I can't recommend SleepInn after this experience.

Breakfast was good, with several choices, and the check-in staff were friendly enough. Housekeeping did a decent job, too. Still, I thought we paid a little too much for what we got. We had two rooms. They were clean overall but dated and worn in spots, including a cracked sink and stained ceiling. Some of our group found the beds very uncomfortable, while the other two didn't feel strongly either way. Thin walls and our spot near the stairs and elevator meant we heard people all night. At checkout, the staff member seemed so distracted they could barely take my keys. It was okay for one night and served its purpose. As one of the people who found the bed uncomfortable, I wouldn't want to stay multiple nights in a row.

We were left waiting while the desk person was out on a smoke break, though I don't know how long it was. Then neither set of keys worked, so we had to wait for her to let us into the room. It took probably 45 minutes or more just to get in. We went to dinner and were told maintenance would fix the lock. Later, the desk person went upstairs to let us in and found the maintenance worker had left the door open without fixing it. The room had been unsecured. Fortunately, nothing seemed to be missing. We asked to talk to the manager, but she refused. After breakfast, we again had to get the desk person to open the room. We could hear the neighbors all night, and the trash cans at the entrances were overflowing. Housekeeping at least did a decent job. Nobody offered compensation. It felt like the managers weren't doing their jobs. A pathetic place to stay. Go somewhere else.

The bed and pillows were excellent. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. The TV kept freezing, though, and the internet was really slow.
