That outside lighting was annoying, and I barely slept because the heat kept switching on and off with a loud noise. There was a stain on the chair, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom door made it hard to use the toilet. The location is about the only good thing. If you’re not picky, it’s a dated man's motel, but I’d pay a few dollars more to stay at Whitaker’s next door. Honestly, I didn’t find anything else good about it. 🤮
Our little corner room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It’s a cute, quiet spot just off i-81 with a nice atmosphere. The office staff were great, and the housekeeping team had such lovely personalities. They stayed on top of anything we needed and took great care of us, so we left them a $20 tip.
The bed was okay, but the room as a whole wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom felt very dated and needs a complete renovation. The water also turned cold while I was partway through my shower.
We ended up here because every other hotel was booked. It needs updating, and that old bed was uncomfortable.
The room was immaculate, and the housekeeper kept it that way with a smile and a friendly chat. During the week and a half we stayed, she made sure we had everything we needed while also shoveling the snow-covered sidewalks on both sides and taking care of the rooms. Best service ever. We’ve come back for a few days since.
