Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside

We booked two nights and ended up deciding to leave. When I asked the front desk about a refund for the second night, they said no because it had to be requested 48 hours ahead. The man seemed more concerned with confirming we'd leave the next day so they could rent the room again and get paid twice. I won't stay here or at any other Sheraton again. For over $350 a night, I expected much better. Parking was a nightmare, and the old building's hallways and rooms smelled musty and mildewy, like Circus Circus in Vegas. Our carpet hadn't even been vacuumed, there was no dresser, and a lamp was broken. Everything felt old and janky. At the so-called restaurant, service was awful. Nobody served us, so I went to the bar to get my own drink. The food took two hours, and my wife didn't get her iced tea until she was halfway through eating. My meal was really bad for the price. We paid over $100, and the food and service weren't worth it.

We loved the location, the Tiki bar, the live band, and the incredible sunset. It's a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant had outstanding food and service, and housekeeping was very helpful, setting up the room just as we asked when we arrived. The front desk staff really stood out compared with other Marriotts we've stayed at. They greeted guests whenever we passed and asked how our room was. Friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Wonderful service all around. We'll definitely come back. This hotel deserves more than five stars!

We spent four nights here with our daughters and had a very nice stay. Jocelyn welcomed us and really went out of her way to make the time special. The place was very clean and in a great location. We walked to dinner and enjoyed the pool.

The location is great, right by the bay and harbor, and you can easily walk downtown. There's a long, lovely waterfront path for walking or biking, and bikes were available. We stayed over Christmas week and had a great time. The staff were super nice, helpful, and fun. The room was clean, comfortable, and well designed. Breakfast at the restaurant was quite good, and Halee, our server, was exceptional and made the stay even better.
