Breakfast was excellent, especially when the daily specials include lemon ricotta pancakes. Yumm! The hotel itself is beautiful and relaxing, with friendly, accommodating staff. It’s just outside downtown, so the island location is great and still very walkable.

Breakfast is a delicious bonus, and the rooms are wonderful. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and Paul accommodates our requests. Anchor Inn feels like such a special place to stay on Put-In-Bay. We love coming here and can’t wait to return.

The made-to-order breakfast each morning was a treat, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was extremely clean, with amazing rooms. This gorgeous place deserves four stars or more. I can’t wait to stay again.

The Inn is gorgeous, the breakfast superb, and the property is quiet yet easy to reach downtown on foot. Still, I can’t honestly give it five stars. The A/C in all the guest rooms was out during both days of our stay, and our room reached 78 degrees, too hot to sleep. I asked the owner twice for partial compensation, but he declined both times and said he hadn’t considered even a small token refund. I understand things break, but I feel the room price should have been adjusted.

Paul and Emily were kind, thoughtful innkeepers and gave us great suggestions for the trip. I loved the room design, the location, the delicious breakfast Paul prepared, and the turndown service. I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Anchor Inn. 10/10!
