We were able to rent golf carts directly from Harriet's House for the whole weekend, which made it easy to explore the island at our own pace. The hotel also offered great value and was spotless, from the rooms to the shared spaces. It’s close to the main attractions, and the pools just behind the property are free to use. The swim-up bars made them even more fun. The owner deserves a special mention for being so helpful and committed to making sure we had a great stay. We had a wonderful time at Harriet's House and will be back. If you want a clean, convenient, enjoyable, affordable place in Put-in-Bay, I highly recommend it.

The owners take good care of the property, keep updating things, and pay attention to all the little details. They’re kind and helpful, rent golf carts, and offer recommendations. Harriet’s House feels like home, with everything you need for a vacation. It’s family owned, super clean, and close to downtown. I truly appreciate how much care they put into it. It’s the best place to stay on the island.

For my birthday weekend, we stayed in a spacious townhouse that was in a perfect spot for walking to all the shops and restaurants we wanted to visit. The beds were comfortable, everything was extremely clean, and the staff were top notch. Tiffany was amazingly kind when we checked in. Harriet’s House is hands down the BEST place to stay on the island. I HIGHLY recommend it!

The rooms are clean and welcoming, and checking in and out is always easy. Booking online with my card has never caused an issue, unlike at other hotels where my CC info somehow gets leaked. I’ve stayed at lots of places on PIB, and nothing compares to Harriet House. The staff are always kind and friendly.

We spent the whole time out and about, so the Basement Bungalow was just right for us, since all we needed was a bed and bathroom. The rooms are spartan, so this isn’t the place for a luxury stay, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. Booking directly through their website gets you a gold cart overnight for much less than elsewhere on the island. All in all, a good experience.
