Hidden Lake Resort

We won’t be back. There were cobwebs and spiders in the room, mold on the shower rod, and cigarette burns on the blankets that weren’t ours. We booked two nights for vacation, and things were fine until the manager came to our door at 8:20 p.m. She said two people had complained about noise, even though we were quietly playing a video game on the TV. Our two little dogs were quiet too, and only started barking after she knocked. She told me to control them and keep the noise down, and accused us of banging on the walls, which we weren’t doing. I could hear bar music pounding through my room and wasn’t complaining, until now. The whole thing made no sense, and I didn’t deserve to be spoken to that way. She could have handled it much more kindly.
