Forge at Raleigh Iron Works

Nina made my tour at The Forge Raleigh Iron Works easy and welcoming. She was friendly and knew her stuff, took time to answer all my questions, and helped me feel confident about the community. If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend asking for her.

I applied the same day I toured with Molly. She was patient and very friendly. I had already been approved for another apartment in Cary and lost my deposit there, but I'm happy with my decision. Chase and Ann Marie have always communicated quickly and openly, and both are very professional. Forge has a unique style and character, with cool artwork throughout and landscaping that always looks neat. The amenities are great: my favorite is the coffee machine, and there's also a pool, gym, separate yoga room, game room, courtyard, and a lounge on the 7th floor that's great for sunsets. The restaurants, brewery, and other retailers here are top-notch. The apartments have big windows and lots of natural light, so I keep several plants. The balconies are roomy, and I love the kitchen layout, with ample cabinets and a silver tile backsplash. I also like the floor plan. A few things needed adjusting, and maintenance took care of them right away. The maintenance and cleaning crew are helpful and polite. I have a few neighbors, but the rooms are pretty quiet. For safety, there are several doors to the stairs with clear exit signs, plenty of fire alarms in the corridors that are loud enough to alert you, and 2 to 3 alarms in each room. The location is excellent: downtown raleigh is only 5 minutes away, RDU airport is 20 minutes away, 440 is just around the corner, and the greenway is down the road. There's also a great Barber Shop across the street. Forge has bike racks and some charging stations for electric vehicles. I'm excited about the other new things being built and how they'll make this place even more fun.
