Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena

If you're going to Lenovo Center, this place is ideal. It's a 10-min walk, so you can skip event parking fees and the crazy traffic before and after. Our two-bed room was spacious, and it was handy having the bathroom separate from the sink. The beds weren't comfortable, though. There's no microwave in the room, but there's one downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast isn't included. I think it costs more than it should, but if you want to walk to Lenovo Center, I highly recommend it.

Lenovo was just a short walk away, which made the location key for our visit. The rooms were cool and spacious, the bathroom was okay, and the beds were comfy. Water pressure and temperature were good too. One elevator is insane. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but I believe you pay per person.

Jazmin, Karen, and Russell at the front desk were all very nice and helpful. They greeted me right away while my husband parked the truck. There's a bar and restaurant that open at 5, plus a buffet breakfast for around $12 a person. We're going to try it tomorrow. So far, so good. My first impression is that I'd stay here again.

We left our car at the hotel and saved the $45 parking charge at the Lenovo arena. The walk to the game was very short, and the room was larger than what we're used to at a competitor. The beds were comfortable, and you have full control of the thermostat, including switching from heat to cool and using a constant fan. The $11 breakfast was mediocre. They were about to put it away, so I went for more bacon. The worker saw me taking it and made sure to tell me she planned to take the remaining bacon home to make a BLT.
