Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raleigh North - Wake Forest by IHG

The area was quiet, though the other guests weren't. My room was okay, and at least the mini fridge stayed cold. There are three floors, but the second floor, where I stayed, had no ice machine. For three days, housekeeping changed towels and rags, but as far as I could tell, not the sheets. The tub mat was dirty underneath. The TV had lots of channels, but wouldn't let me select the HDMI input for a streaming device. My key card also stopped working on day two for some reason, though they fixed it. Next time I'm in the area, I'll probably choose a different Holiday Inn.

I booked the wrong night by mistake, and Jocelyn, Sonya, and Raj helped sort it out with a smile. I'm a regular here, and Jocelyn and Sonya made sure the GM knew about the issue. That kind of service feels rare these days. The women are always professional, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond when I visit. I highly recommend this location. Please tell them I said hello!❣️

The rooms were clean and quiet, and the price was lower than other Raleigh options. Staff weren't especially friendly, but they weren't rude either. My favorite thing was the perfume-free air. They don't use air freshener to cover up smells, and it's easy to tell the place is clean. My allergies appreciated that, and I'll keep this hotel on my list.

The breakfast was good, and the area was very clean. The attendant was friendly and professional, and the pool attendant did a nice job keeping both the pool and its surroundings clean. Housekeeping brought us fresh towels each day. Our stay was good overall, though our room had fleas and I got some bites. Since it's a pet-friendly hotel, I realize some things may be outside their control. I didn't complain, but I did tell the front desk when we checked out.
