ClubHouse Hotel & Suites - Rapid City

Wild sage was a highlight, and the hotel sits conveniently between Mount Rushmore and downtown. It’s new and modern, a good fit if you’re here for work or prefer that style over a cabin feel. Carlos was welcoming and fantastic, though the rest of the staff didn’t make the same impression. The walls are so thin you can hear a neighbor cough or sneeze, and kids next door could make sleep tough. At least the bed and sheets were cozy.

We brought our dog and stayed in a ground-floor room. It was spotless and attractive, with a coffee maker and microwave. Breakfast was just okay, but Bin 615 across the road was handy and had excellent flatbread. The hotel is close enough to Mount Rushmore for an easy visit. Someone can help if you have trouble with the TV remote. We’d recommend staying here.

The location worked well for us, and the staff knew the area and offered ideas for restaurants, hikes, and sightseeing. We especially liked the Monday through Thursday manager’s reception, with complimentary beer and wine and a chance to talk with management, who seemed genuinely interested in how our stay was going. Our spacious, clean room had plenty of closet space, and breakfast each day included rotating hot dishes plus oatmeal, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. We had a wonderful week and would stay again if we return, and recommend it to other visitors.

Sarah greeted us when we arrived, friendly and ready to help. The clean room had beds so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. There were lots of places to sit outside, inside, and upstairs on the second floor. We also appreciated tea and water available around the clock, fresh breakfast, and the manager’s reception with drinks and snacks. The workout room was clean, with a nice mix of machines and free weights, and the pool area was pleasant. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
