There was handy parking right in front of my room, so unloading after arrival was easy. I stayed solo for one night on a cross-country motorcycle ride and loved the cool 50s RT66 feel. The location was great and felt very safe. Staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and the room was clean and really comfortable, with great AC, bed, pillows, and blankets. The Smart TV was ready to go with Hulu. My 5G connection worked well, and the Wi-Fi was fast too.

A great little slice of history, with a spotless room and the best shower and water pressure of any hotel on our 10-day motorcycle trip. It's close enough to downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to stay quiet. I'd highly recommend this motel if you're passing through Raton.

Michael and Brandy were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were running late on the way home, after also staying here overnight on the outbound leg, and they left our key in a lockbox by the room. The motel is quiet and conveniently located right off I-25. Rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Both rooms and bathrooms were clean. It's a great place to stay, and your money supports a family-owned business instead of some heartless corporation. Most of the other comments say the same, and it's easy to see why.

The themed rooms and office have just the right vintage motel kitsch, while still being comfortable and practical. Each room has its own theme, and my daughter and I stayed in Just Deserts, where we felt at ease right away. The owners, Brandy and Michael, clearly love running this place. They answered our questions by email before the trip, Brandy greeted us at check-in, and Michael came over to say hello. We met guests at the community breakfast table Brandy had set, including people who'd been returning for years on long drives. You can tell this inn is their work and their way of life. They're hoteliers in the best sense. Whether you're visiting Raton or just breaking up a drive, you'll be glad you chose Raton Pass Motor Inn. It delivered everything the website promised and more.

We stayed in the fun “Butch and Sundance” room and are already looking forward to coming back. Michael suggested a scenic route back to Raton after our visit to nearby Capulin Volcano, and it made a lovely stay even better. He and Brandy have done a wonderful job keeping and creating the motel's charm, with very clean rooms, great service, and none of the scary feeling some motels have. I can't recommend Raton Pass Motor Inn enough. We love this place!
