Doubletree By Hilton Reading

The hot breakfast at Cheers Bistro was delicious, and there was a lively buzz around the nightlife. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and nearby venues were easy to reach. I also appreciated the self-parking and the bathroom amenities. The bedding and pillows made for a really comfortable night, and the pricing was affordable. I enjoy the warm cookie when I arrive, but it isn’t the only reason I come back. No disappointments this time!

The rooms were spotless and quiet, and the service throughout was great. My husband and I came for Winter Jam 2026, and the Reading Pa. Double Tree was perfectly placed right across the street from the event. Michael welcomed us warmly and made sure we were taken care of. Check-in was very fast and friendly, and manager Nick was accommodating and professional, making sure everything met our expectations. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, whose manager was also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the Hilton Double Tree if you’re attending an event at Santander Arena.

Jeff was wonderful and helped us get a room after a stressful check-in problem. We’d come for our daughters graduation from Alvernia University, which was right across the street and ideal for us. At first we were told there was no reservation. It turned out we’d been victims of fraud, and somehow someone had changed our reservation to their information. The hotel bar was fun, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast spread was amazing. Thanks, JEFF!!!

We had a great time celebrating our 17 yr Anniversary and going to Berks Jazzfest. The food was great, and the waitresses were sweet both in the evening and morning. The hotel and restaurant staff were great too. One older van driver seemed frustrated with other drivers and had a little road rage, so he needs to slow down. The other Spanish driver was excellent, and that’s why I tipped him. Keep up the good work.
