Hummingbird House

I like to support locally owned hotels and motels when I travel, and I was really glad I chose Hummingbird House. It was cozy and quiet, with lots of thoughtful details. I spent time reading, walking around town, and going to Krystyna’s for a lovely Valentine's Day dinner. We're already making plans to return.

We were honored to hold the first wedding at Hummingbird House, and it made a perfect setting for our small, intimate celebration. The Victorian Airbnb was exquisite and comfortable, with plenty of room for guests and relatives to stay together. Kate handled everything with ease, and the experience surpassed our expectations. Keyless entry was easy, communication about our stay was great, and the morning pastries were delightful. The owners, Doc and Susan, were so kind and generous, and made our wedding memorable. I hope more people get to experience this jewel in Red Bluff. Thank you for everything!

The common parlor was a comfortable place to read, play board games or puzzles, and visit with other guests and friends, who had interesting stories from faraway places. The two outdoor balconies were inviting and comfortable, and made morning coffee and breakfast treats especially enjoyable. Our sleeping rooms were comfortable and accommodating, with tasteful decor and a different theme in each. Our Hummingbird stay was wonderful in every way. Even five stars don't do the experience justice. We can hardly wait to visit again. B. Cornelius

Fresh pastries from a local artisan bakery with coffee in the morning, and a balcony upstairs that’s worth spending time on. This place feels like our hidden gem and makes me proud of downtown. It’s quiet, easy to get around, clean, and has great views and plenty of amenities. Style shows up in every corner, and it really delivers for anyone with high standards. Stunning and elegant 😍.
