The view from Room 102 was incredible, with skiers, deer wandering outside the patio, and the river trickling nearby. The room itself was clean and spacious, though a little older, and it didn’t have a hair dryer. Nathan from the front desk brought one over right away after I called. Alpine Lodge is in a beautiful spot with the river alongside it and the ski slope across the way. It’s also centrally placed for getting around town. Red River is dear to me, and I’d stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

From our balcony, or even from bed, we could watch skiers and snowboarders on the face of the slope. Room 302, the king ski view, was perfect for that. Just know there are a few steps to climb to reach this room. Alpine Lodge is well placed for walking around town, and the two hot tubs in a separate building felt wonderful on cold days. Before the trip, staff were quick to answer all my questions by text or message, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful when we checked in.

We barely spent time in the room since we were out all day, and it was perfectly fine for sleeping. Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong with it either. The location was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. We arrived very late, but the after-hours check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The office also replied quickly by text. I’d happily stay again.

The grounds were tidy and well kept, and the office communicated really well. Inside, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Plenty of hot water and strong water pressure were a real plus. Customer service was excellent. Already looking forward to coming back in February 2026.

The room was clean and the service was great. Being about a hundred yards from the ski resort made things convenient, and there are several restaurants right across from it in every direction.
