The manager's care made this extended stay feel personal. She checked that I had what I needed, greeted me warmly, and was genuinely helpful with every question. Her kindness and professionalism showed throughout, and it's clear she takes pride in the motel and cares about guests. The rooms were comfortable and clean as well. I was impressed from beginning to end and will be back. If you're after a clean, comfortable place with great service, this is it. The manager alone earns five stars from me.

At checkout I told the housekeeping supervisor, who apologized the next morning, that nobody should have to pay for a room in those conditions. We just needed a clean bed and a shower. She suggested speaking to manager Tiffany, but Tiffany wasn't available. We'll never stay at a Motel 6 again. We got in around 1:00 am after driving more than 10 hours, and Brandon kindly gave us keys to our room, number 131. The sheets were stained, and when I lifted them there was hair and crumbs. The mattress had a burn mark. I tried calling Brandon, but the phone didn't work. He came by, saw the sheets, and offered another room. That one was dirty and full of hair too. He said they normally don't rent those rooms, then showed my husband a third room that was the same. Exhausted, I asked for fresh sheets. The ones he brought were wet. Around 2:00 am, I changed them myself and put blankets on top to keep us away from the cold damp sheets, then we had to sleep so we could continue our trip the next day.

Update, Jan 26, 2025: whoever worked the night of December 27th, 2025 should be investigated. My card details were stolen and used at a local cinema on Jan 3rd for $40. The employee was an older white woman. We stopped here between Washington and home in socal. People who looked like they were on drugs were walking around at night, and the location felt awful. I'd prepaid online through booking.com five days earlier, and I told the receptionist that when we checked in around 8 pm on the 27th. She'd said I'd need a refund through booking and then a new payment if I wanted to upgrade to a two-bed room. I refused. They still charged a $100 deposit and then another $75.67 for the room. She said the money would be refunded, but when charging my card she specifically said the total was $100. How do you double-charge a prepaid stay by accident? I have receipts and recorded the call, and I'm waiting for the refund. After looking into this motel more, I saw its reputation for theft. Yikes.

The room was disgusting and the property felt unsafe, with people hanging around nearby and on site. It had a stale cigarette smell under what seemed like bleach, and the mattress looked decrepit and stained. I pulled back the sheets to look for bed bugs, and the concierge counted that as using the room and denied a refund. I know he was doing his job, but that's an insane policy. It felt like a bad movie, and I wouldn't stay here even for free. If you're heading north on I-5, go an extra hour to Weed. There are plenty of similarly priced options that don't feel so sketchy and scary.
