The room had serious hygiene and maintenance problems. I found bed bugs, roaches, and fleas, and couldn’t rest. The mattress had visible blood and urine stains, and there were poop stains elsewhere. Towels were dirty, there were no shower mats, and housekeeping seemed nonexistent or completely incompetent. There was a strong cigarette smell and visible mold, which worried me for health reasons. The water wasn’t hot, the A/C leaked, and several appliances didn’t work. Linens and curtains were ripped, and the curtains wouldn’t close properly. The door had only one lock, so I didn’t feel secure. There was no WiFi or cable, despite those being advertised. This place seems to have major safety, cleanliness, and maintenance failures. I’d strongly advise people to stay elsewhere until they’re addressed.

This is now called "Guest Place Inn", no longer Red Lion, and I can see why Red Lion wouldn’t want its name tarnished. Our room hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, and the TV remote didn’t even have batteries. People hanging around the parking lot felt creepy and often asked for money. We saw the conditions and asked for a full refund. To management’s credit, we got it. This was the worst experience I’ve had at any place. Don’t go here, run as fast as you can, and hope you can outrun the bed bugs.

There were dirty floors and trash under and behind the beds in the first room I got. I also found a used syringe behind a bed. Black mold covered the bathroom, and the toilet kept running. I reported it and was moved to a smaller room with pretty much the same problems, including another used syringe behind a nightstand. Definitely not a clean place at all!

There was no peace at all. People kept walking and talking almost all night, and around 1am a bunch of police cars were in front of the building. We also saw sheets and other things under the stairs, maybe someone homeless was sleeping there. Our first room smelled like pee and had a broken AC. They moved us, but the next room had stained sheets, or maybe they hadn’t been changed, I don’t know. I don’t understand why they have a pool if it can’t be used. We arrived by mistake, thinking it would be decent for the price, but it wasn’t close. The women at the front desk were really nice, but that doesn’t make up for the whole experience. Not recommended at all, one of the worst experiences of my life.
