The Thunderbird Lodge has been the favorite stop on our road trip so far. We're choosing 2-3 star hotels because parking right by the room is convenient and we don't need lots of extras. Here, thoughtful updates like plugs by the coffee machine and a handy coat rack sit nicely alongside the vintage character. It's an enjoyable area, everything is walkable, and the staff were great. Thanks for making this the best stay of our trip!

The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a shower that had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The man who checked me in was really friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, the place was easy to find, and it's close to I-5 without being right beside it, so the area was quiet. For under $100, I'd stay here whenever I need to stop in Redding.

We had a great time during our three nights here and would happily recommend it. The rooms are new and very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, with fluffy pillows. Service was great too. The woman at the desk was really nice and had a great attitude. Thank you!

Everything a traveler might need was in the room, which was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. If I need a place in this area again, I'll definitely stay here.

I really like the new look in my room, very stylish, and it had everything I needed. The location is hard to beat, with a donut shop on one corner and a Mexican restaurant on the other, near I-5 and 299. A hot breakfast item, maybe something like a pancake machine, would be a nice addition.
