The price was good, and I never saw mice in the bed or saw or felt any bed bugs. But the unit had a serious mouse problem: I killed over 15 during my roughly two-month stay and went through lots of packs of traps. I never used the couch because it looked very dirty and I kept seeing mice run across it. Maybe a cat would be cheaper than traps for a long-term stay. The bathroom was dirty enough that I had to buy flip-flops to shower, though the other restroom was fairly clean. It wasn’t up to date, and the paint around the unit needs redoing. The TV didn’t work either. I had a studio-style room with a full kitchen, stove, refrigerator, sink, couch, and dining table. It was a good price, but the interior and bathroom weren’t as nice as the smaller units. It’s okay, I guess. You get what you pay for, and it’s no five-star hotel.

I stayed on and off through the summer and felt very safe. The place was clean, nobody bothered me, and a nice guy working there held my mail for weeks after I checked out. I’m Black, and they were far from racist. No bed bugs, either. A microwave in the room was the one thing missing. Bigger rooms would be even better with a stove and refrigerator. The price could be more like 275-300, but 350 is cool.

There were bedbugs, on top of all the accessibility problems. The parking lot had no ramps to the walkways, and the office entry had a gap of more than 1/2. There were also 1/2 gaps at the room and bathroom entrances. The bed was much too high for a wheelchair transfer, and the toilet was too low with no convenient way to stand up. Neither the toilet nor the face bowl was securely tightened down. There was no cooking in the room, and the only microwave was a 4-5 minute walk away each way.

Where do I start? They’re very prejudiced against people who aren’t like them. Don’t give your hard-earned money to these unprofessional motel clerks. They also charged 50 dollars to my credit without any explanation. They’re robbing the public blind!
