Royal Orleans 103 - Studio Condo

It's a great spot for a family stay. We come back year after year for the heated pool and how easy it is to walk across the street to the beach.

Unit 212 was nothing like it should have been. The owner wouldn't do anything about the problems. The bathroom floor was so disgusting that I cleaned it myself, along with every dish, pot, pan, glass, piece of silverware, and utensil. There wasn't any toilet paper either. The cupboards had dirty dishes in them when I arrived, just as the pictures show. TRS does an atrocious job cleaning the unit.

The location is really good, with a short walk to the beach and restaurants, though the nearest grocery store seems to be more than a mile away. The condos vary a lot from one unit to another. I recently had a great stay in a clean room with a responsive host, but I know someone else had a terrible experience. Their bathroom had discoloration or mold that set off horrible allergies. Since the building is older and seems to lack bathroom vents, mold and mildew can become an issue. I don't know why they don't provide little dehumidifiers to help.

We had such a nice three-night stay in Room 216 with my little family. Cindy was our host, and she was attentive and accommodating, checking in to see how things were going. The condo was so cute and beachy, with lovely furniture and lots of effort put into the decorating. It felt like home, and it came supplied with a lot of what we needed, plus a little extra. The place overall was quiet and family-friendly, with a quick walk to the beach. We didn't get to enjoy the pool much, but there's always next time. We'll be back and rent with her for our next beach stay.
