The mattresses were badly sunken, and the rooms smelled awful and looked disgusting. I remembered this hotel as nicer, but that memory was way off. The desk clerk was hard to understand, and the locals made me uneasy. Avoid staying here.

The bathroom vent was my one real gripe: once the shower steamed up, rusty drips came from it. It was gross, though I was okay as long as they didn't land on me. The rooms are basic but clean, and the staff were helpful when I needed an extra day to pay. They tried to accommodate me, so keep your word and build that relationship. Prices are good, with plenty of places to eat and freeway access nearby. I think it's a great place to stay and would recommend it.

The carpet looked stained, and unfortunately the comfortable bed in room 206 had bugs. I wanted to rate the place higher, but that was a dealbreaker, so I stayed somewhere else the next night. The staff were very nice, and having both a mini fridge and microwave was a real plus. They leave coffee and individually wrapped muffins in the lobby in the morning. The soap and shampoo dispensers aren't pretty, but they're practical since you can take as much as you need.

For $100 a night I expected a bit more. The floors were filthy, the non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and the shower gel and shampoo dispensers hadn't been refilled. The queen beds felt more like full size and weren't comfortable. Staff were friendly, but the rooms weren't very nice and housekeeping seemed to be cutting corners. Breakfast was just coffee, cereal, and a small cart of wrapped muffins and honey buns, with no hot food.
