Motel 6 Redlands, CA

I paid $120 for one night at Motel 6 Redlands on 3/6/2026, and the room was disgusting. It was one of my worst motel stays. There were several visible stains on the bedspread, and the mattress was filthy and badly discolored along the sides. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time, which is unacceptable for a place meant to provide a clean bed. There was trash and debris left on the shelves, including what looked like used fake eyelashes. Housekeeping clearly hadn’t removed it before I checked in. The window screen was torn and hanging loose, exposing the room to bugs and outside air, and the place looked neglected. Charging that much for such a dirty, poorly maintained room is outrageous. There were roaches all over the room, including the bathroom. The sheets and blankets didn’t smell clean, the floors were dirty, and I found old dead roaches. The baseboards were disgusting. Really sad how little care they seem to put in. I don’t recommend it.

There were bugs everywhere, in the shower, crawling around, and even one dead under the pillow. I expected it to be bad, but not this bad. I tried to get a refund and told them about the bugs, but they said I still had to pay for the night. It’s almost $100, and even though that’s cheaper than many motels, it wasn’t worth it. There’s no fridge or microwave in the rooms, either. They should charge less for a place in this condition. I’d spend a little more for a better motel instead of worrying about bugs in the bed and shower. Please don’t waste your money here.

The room smelled horrible, and both the floor and shower were dirty. The sheets were gross when I arrived, with lots of hair on both sides of the pillows and makeup stains. I booked through Expedia, so after checking in I couldn’t cancel my reservation. There were also lots of homeless people walking outside at night.
