Aloft by Marriott Seattle Redmond

I had a really good stay at Aloft Redmond. It’s clean and modern, and the whole place feels comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and check-in and check-out both went smoothly. It’s handy for Microsoft conferences too, just minutes from the Microsoft campus. I enjoyed being there and would recommend it.

My room was a little small, with just one chair. I did get to use the gym a few times, and it was a decent size. There’s also a full shuffleboard in the lobby bar area. This was my first time staying on the Aloft side, though I’ve stayed at Element before. The building combines both hotels in a U shape, with Aloft on one side and Element on the other. Walking down the hallway, you simply pass from one hotel to the other without leaving the building.

We had a fun birthday trip here. The rooms were roomy and really nice, and there’s a gym and pool. It’s close to Bellevue shopping and easy to get around the city from here.

We’ve stayed next door at Element twice, and this time tried this hotel. The pool and breakfast area are shared with Element. As Titanium Elite members, we got breakfast covered for two adults and two kids. When I asked about Kids camp, they set it up for our kids at no charge. Alan gave great service at check-in. I asked whether the kids’ tent was set up in the room, and he asked me to wait while he went to check himself. We had a small billing hiccup, but it was sorted out over the next few days. The service was great, and we’ll be back. The room is huge, though a bit dark. There’s also an arcade area where you can play and hang out.
