Redmond Inn

Getting around from here was easy: Marymoor Light Rail Station is within an easy walk, as are lots of downtown Redmond stores and restaurants. The location was excellent, the service very good, and the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

Dave Norwood deserves a shout-out for checking in with us, working around our group's needs, and helping arrange the free local shuttle for our commutes. The rest of the team were friendly, professional, and quick to help too. My colleagues and I stayed at Redmond Inn for two weeks on a work trip, and it made the long stay easy. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well equipped, with quiet options for focused work and access that worked for late arrivals. Having traveled for work near Microsoft and other tech hubs, I know a comfortable, convenient place with genuine hospitality can be hard to find. Redmond Inn delivered on all of that. We'd gladly return for another trip.

The front desk woman who checked us in was so welcoming, smiling and kind. My sister and I came to town to surprise our baby sister for her 40th birthday, Nov 15th-17th, and really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was the letdown: just waffles, bagels, and sliced bread, when we expected things like eggs, sausage, oatmeal, or bacon. The waffles were good, though, and we went to the waffle house the next morning instead. When I visit my sister in the area again, I'll most likely stay here.

This was a difficult stay to begin with: flooding forced our family out of our apartment complex in Auburn, WA, and we needed somewhere immediately. We booked through Priceline and paid $498.24 including taxes for December 14-20, 2025. On December 17, management told us it was safe to go home. Priceline contacted the hotel for us, and staff said the remaining two nights would be refunded if we checked out before noon on December 18. We relied on that, packed, and left before the stated time. After checkout, the hotel denied having agreed to the refund. That was deeply disappointing and left serious concerns about honesty and communication. The stay itself also fell short: the breakfast was extremely low quality, staff offered no greeting or basic hospitality, and the front desk management seemed indifferent. We had explained to Priceline and the hotel that we'd been displaced by a natural disaster. The lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism was unacceptable. I would caution families and anyone facing an emergency about staying here. Trust matters in that situation, and this hotel failed us. After the hotel's response, it publicly apologized for the confusion, but still offered no refund or resolution. The main issue remains: staff communicated the refund through Priceline, and we checked out early in good faith while dealing with an emergency. An apology without accountability doesn't resolve it.
