The staff made this stay for me. They were kind and professional, and so proactive and responsive that I’m sure they’d sort out anything a guest needed. The hotel is also in a great spot, close to plenty of amenities. A great experience from beginning to end.

I’ve stayed here a few times now, and every visit has been a five-star experience for me. The staff are the best part, always warm and welcoming, and they really make an effort to look after guests.

I’m appalled by how I’ve been treated here. I have epilepsy, and my 18 lb dog is a trained service animal who assists me if I have a seizure. I have paperwork showing she’s registered, but the hotel charged me $150 without my consent or knowledge, claiming it was for “cleaning.” She has never gone to the bathroom in a room. Staff wouldn’t consider waiving the charge, even though she’s essential to my medical well-being. I don’t want to spend the night here. If management showed a little decency, I’d ask for a refund, cancel, and go somewhere that treats guests with kindness and puts their medical well-being first. I’ve never been treated with this much disrespect, and the staff’s lack of professionalism is shocking. The rest of the place doesn’t justify the cost either. It’s mediocre, has no indoor pool, and feels like a two-star hotel charging five-star prices. Everything is overpriced, including things they charge three times their actual cost for. They also try to make you pay for valet when there’s free parking less than 25 feet from the entrance. Guest service is a joke. I’d recommend Hyatt House or another hotel. Even the Redmond in is much more accommodating and cheaper. I plan to file formal complaints with Marriott and the Better Business Bureau over these charges. This is the first place I’m posting about my experience to alert others. If the management sees this and treats a regular guest decently, I’ll gladly withdraw my complaints and review. The third floor was quiet, which I appreciated, and the location is great. But the room quality and service were disappointing for a hotel that normally costs around $300 a night. The TV was painfully slow, even after I got Netflix working, every remote click took ages. The table lamp couldn’t be dimmed or brightened, and the light wasn’t enough for my daughter to do homework in the evening. I also lost my thermometer. When I called the front desk, the person quickly asked what I needed, then said, “Sorry, I’m helping other guests,” and directed me to a website. I’m fine with reporting it online, but the way they said it made it feel like they stopped caring after I checked out, and wouldn’t care whether I came back. Very disappointing.
