Ramada Limited Redondo Beach

The rooms were really clean and well kept, and the location is handy, with restaurants, markets, and shopping centers around. It’s two blocks from the Beach 🏝, perfect, perfect, perfect. The staff are great and very helpful. George, Ryan, Robert, and Laura are all wonderful people. I’d book here again. Just a note, I did not receive cleaning services.

Breakfast was handy and there was enough. The location is wonderful, a few blocks from Redondo’s veteran park and pier, and the heater works fine. The beds are very comfortable, and we’d definitely stay again. We did have to keep asking for housekeeping, though, for towels to be changed, the floor cleaned, and soap refilled.

The only things in its favor were free parking and being about a 15 minute walk from a park for the kids. Otherwise, this was the worst place we stayed on a month-long trip around the U.S, through multiple budget hotels. We’re not picky and only wanted somewhere to sleep, but this was genuinely unpleasant. I’d avoid it. The staff were consistently miserable and unhelpful. We stayed five nights and never once got hot water when we tried to shower. Every time, we had to call the front desk and wait for it to heat up. There was effectively no housekeeping. The room was never cleaned, sheets and towels weren’t changed, the floors were dirty, and there was visible mould. One morning I asked the front desk to have housekeeping come by. Someone changed a bin and left. I only knew they’d been there because they left their window cleaner behind. No actual cleaning was done. Breakfast was extremely poor with very few options. On day one there were no knives. Staff said they couldn’t find any locally to buy, which was strange because we bought our own later that day without any trouble. There was also barely any seating, maybe room for around ten people for the entire hotel. You couldn’t pay me to stay again. This hotel was the only bad memory from an otherwise great trip, and I’d look somewhere else in the area.

For the price, a decent choice. The rooms were clean and had what we needed, including a fridge and TV with a big variety of channels. Good location, free underground parking, and free breakfast. Lora at reception was kind and responsive, with great customer service. Thanks, Ramada Team! A few drawbacks: the soundproofing isn’t great, though it only bothered me one morning. The synthetic blankets didn’t feel comfortable to sleep under, didn’t warm well, and didn’t breathe well. The only window is by the door. The black-haired guy at reception didn’t seem very polite to my wife or helpful.
