The customer support was awful. The representative was rude and didn't understand what I was saying. He ignored my reservation request and left my call on hold for a very long time without giving me any answer. The business is already in its worst phase, and it still chose to hire such an uncooperative representative 😡. As an operations manager myself, I'd suggest replacing him as soon as possible with someone better at the same cost through offshore hiring.

The location is the main thing this place has going for it, near Sequoia Station and two bus stops. Most of the time, walking is quicker than waiting for the bus. There was loud construction all day, roughly 8 to 5, with jackhammers and sanding or grinding equipment, and nobody apologized for it. Forget sleeping in or napping, and there was no reduced rate for the disruption. I also went to the hospital after a bug bite I got there. I was there for 14 days. Be careful. The location is about all it has.

We left after asking for a full refund. Our keycards stopped working the second evening, and after several tries we learned the motel had put another guest in our room while our things were still inside. The staff didn't seem very concerned and only said they'd fix it. Earlier, our supposed non-smoking room had smelled strongly of smoke, but we let that slide because we were exhausted. We had also called to confirm late check-in for our two-night booking, yet on arrival staff told us the office shut at 10:30 PM, despite the advertised 24-hour check-in. This was unacceptable. No guest should have to deal with this. There are better and cheaper places nearby, avoid this one.

I wanted to check out early, but the office didn't open until 9, so we had to delay leaving while trying to get our deposit back. That was the last straw. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like cigarettes, and while we unloaded the car, a man stood at the top of the stairs the whole time with a bandana over his face for some reason. Around midnight, two people who seemed clearly high woke us by banging on the door. I wasn't about to open it, since I had no idea what they wanted. The place was a low-price option, so my expectations were modest, but it didn't come close to meeting them. They also required a $50 cash deposit for the night, which I hadn't seen in the reservation. I offered to use my card, but was told it had to be cash, which seemed suspicious.
