The Grand Cafe really surprised me tonight. The chicken pot pie was huge, with a flaky, buttery, crisp crust and a creamy filling of shredded chicken and vegetables. I was unsure what to order and worried it might not be filling, but I was glad I chose it. The pot stickers were crisp too, and the chili sauce was so good I kept reaching for more. My fiancé and I moved to Reno six months ago and come to GSR regularly. We’ve now tried two restaurants here, and both had delicious food and quick, excellent service. At the Grand Cafe, Alex looked after us so well, always attentive and welcoming. The whole staff treated us wonderfully from the moment we arrived until we left. The bar was fully stocked, prices were reasonable, and our food came out quickly. I’d order the pie again and recommend it. 10/10 for food and hospitality.

An An was the reason my night in the High Limit Room felt so special. She remembered what I like to drink, checked in at the right times, and stayed friendly and composed even though the room was busy. Her cocktails were among the best I’ve had on the casino floor, balanced and smooth every time. The room itself was comfortable, exclusive-feeling, and well run. An An’s attentive, professional service made the experience, though. She’s efficient without making you feel hurried, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re playing high limit and want attentive service, ask for her. She’s a big reason I plan to return.

The casino floor was a blast, and those buffaloes really came through for us! 🦬🔥 We had such a fun time playing the slots. We also loved breakfast at the Grand Café. Rita was so sweet and took time to chat and connect with us, which made the morning feel special. When we arrived, the check-in staff took great care of us and surprised us with a wonderful room. Management made us feel valued throughout the stay and paid attention to every detail. Michael J. Munda deserves an extra thank-you for making sure everything went smoothly. We’ve just finished an amazing stay from Wednesday through today and already can’t wait to come back. We’re hoping to bring our kids next time, and I have a bachelorette trip planned at GSR soon. Thanks, GSR, for a memorable visit. See you again!

Jason Dunn sent up a beautiful cake for my friend’s birthday, such a thoughtful surprise that made our celebration even more memorable. We were at Grand Sierra Casino for the birthday, and Jason was welcoming, attentive, and friendly throughout. His customer service was outstanding, and you can tell he cares about giving guests a good experience. He made the night unforgettable. I’d recommend asking for Jason if you visit.

My wife and I still had a good time, even though I ended up giving about $1,500 back to the casino, plus the $50 in promo chips. Daniel Swing’s effort made a frustrating situation much better, and his professionalism is the kind of customer service that brings people back. I’d received an offer for two free nights and $200 in promotional chips based on my high-limit play, but neither the cashier nor I could find it in the system when I arrived. Daniel, the supervisor at the Grand Sierra Resort cashier’s cage, went to the rewards desk to look into my account while we headed to our dinner reservation. He later found us at the restaurant with an update. He couldn’t locate or honor the original offer, but he took the initiative to help and authorized $50 in promotional chips for the inconvenience. If I’d known the offer wouldn’t be available, I probably would have stayed home. Daniel changed how I felt about the whole situation. Thanks again for taking the time to help and treating us like valued guests.
