For our weekend staycation, my husband and I really enjoyed staying at Kramer’s. Having a door code instead of carrying a key was handy, and check-in and checkout were easy and hands-off. The clubhouse was nice for hanging out and playing pool. The room was clean, and the bed was more comfortable than I'd expected. Everyone on staff was helpful and kind. Being in a Midtown motel meant we could walk to our favorite bars and restaurants. I'd definitely recommend Kramer’s!

The room was great and it's a cool place, but the customer service was laughable. We never got check-in instructions. I called Kramer's during business hours, tried the after-hours hotline, went to the hotel, and emailed, yet couldn't get in until just under 24 hours after we were supposed to check in. Management never responded. The only person we could reach was the on-site attendant, who didn't know what was happening. They need better systems. Don't waste your time.

We never got to stay. We booked through Trip.com and arrived a little before check-in, only to learn that check-in was handled remotely. There was nobody there to help or answer questions. We waited until check-in time hoping an email with instructions would arrive, but nothing came. I called the listed number more than six times before my fiancée tried and got through. The manager said she'd tried to reach me but couldn't confirm my phone number or email. By then it was 5 pm, so we booked somewhere else. They wouldn't cancel the reservation, and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I can't speak to the property itself, but this was a hassle and left me feeling taken advantage of. If you want good customer service, look elsewhere.

We booked two rooms for a weekend in Reno, but after the first night management made us leave, claiming we'd held a party in one of them. That wasn't true. We hadn't even gone back to the room until bedtime. Security threatened us if we didn't go, so we agreed to stay somewhere more professional. They wouldn't refund us despite not providing the service we'd paid for. The place itself was actually cool, but management wasn't on site to talk to, yet somehow could kick us out over a party that never happened. I'd actively avoid it unless you want property management to take your money.
