Comfort Suites Airport Tukwila Seattle

We had a nice family stay over the Christmas holidays for three nights. The pool was big, and the hot tub was reasonably warm. The lobby was spacious, bright, and decorated for Christmas, with free coffee, hot water, and ice water with lemon always available. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hallway renovations didn't bother us. Our room was clean and had what a family with teens needed, including AC, a new sofa bed, large TV, and new microwave. The mattresses felt a bit hard, but that was okay. The location was convenient and quiet. Breakfast had hot and cold options, including waffles, juice, boiled and scrambled eggs, cereal, and milk. The dining area had lots of tables and a patio for summer, and breakfast hours were convenient, from 6 or 7 on weekends until 10. Staff kept refilling things until the last minutes. The area looked safe, though I'd be a little careful walking the nearby Green River trail. You can buy laundry detergent from a vending dispenser, and there were a few lobby machines for drinks and snacks. Free self-parking had plenty of spaces.

Our arrival with the bride and groom was nothing like the call I had made ahead of time. I booked a room for my cousins' wedding night, saw that check-in was at 4 PM, then called the hotel to explain we'd arrive between 1 and 3 AM. Nigeria assured me there'd be no problem. But another staff member was rude and unprofessional and told us we couldn't check in for another three hours. We were left standing there in the middle of the night, adding stress to what should have been a special occasion. I spoke to the supervisor the next morning, but she wasn't helpful and wouldn't give me the employee's name. That made it hard to hold the right person accountable. I hope the hotel improves communication and service. I don't recommend this place because of the unprofessional staff. BIG WARNING.

The staff really made this Seattle vacation memorable. Everyone was friendly and helpful at check-in, checkout, and with room service. My second-floor room was spacious, clean, and newly renovated, and it stayed fairly quiet even with construction in the hallway. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice way to relax or pass time. It's an affordable spot with a good location, just minutes from the airport and next to a fun center, shopping mall, and plenty of food and retail options. I had an excellent stay here in Dec 2025 and hope to come back when I'm in Seattle again.

What should have been a beautiful wedding night left us embarrassed, stressed, and disregarded. We were exhausted and still in our wedding clothes when a rude, unprofessional staff member told us we couldn't check in and had to wait another three hours, despite my family calling ahead and being assured our 1-3 AM arrival would be fine. As a bride, that was heartbreaking. The next morning, my family spoke with the supervisor, who wasn't helpful and refused to identify the employee. That's unacceptable service, especially on such an important occasion. I hope the hotel improves communication and trains staff to treat guests respectfully. No bride and groom should go through this. Nigeria was the trainee and was at least polite and professional. The other staff member had no name tag and didn't provide her name.
