The room was comfortable and clean, and the whole team was great. Val at the front desk was so sweet. The woman working Sunday night, 3/1, was really nice too, though I can't remember her name.

This felt more like a cheap motel than a DoubleTree, and it wasn't worth the price. The room hadn't been cleaned properly: there were visible stains on a pillow and fine hair in the bathroom. It seemed rushed and was completely unacceptable. At breakfast, I used my $15 credit as a Hilton Gold member. The staff member couldn't speak English. She said there was a made-to-order menu when I asked, but what was inside was stale fruit, a waffle maker, and coffee. I was told the staff was off, so made-to-order breakfast wasn't available. I was still charged $20, and she seemed visibly upset that I didn't tip. I also called the front desk about late checkout after getting back at 6am and sleeping only two hours. The agent didn't seem to know about Gold or Diamond late checkout options. I stayed here on New Year's, and the poor cleanliness and service made for a frustrating stay.

We booked two rooms for last night, but neither was ready at check-in. Once we finally got in, they were dirty: urine was still on the toilet seat, there was mildew in the shower, a smell in the room, hair on the floor, and no laundry bags. The gym was locked unless you paid, and breakfast for two cost $43. Not worth the money. Go to Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express, where at least breakfast and the gym are free.

Watch every item on the bill. After eating at the bar, we found several different charges on our room, and we left with a lot of questions. I had to call back, and Jennifer was rude on the phone. She made us feel like we deserved all those charges, which was ridiculous. The hotel is old and outdated, and shouldn't be charging more than $70 a night. The entrance was so dark and felt weird. Looking up, I saw white spots on the ceiling that could produce a lot of mold. In our room, the vents had mold, the AC didn't work, the bed was very uncomfortable, and there were stains on the furniture and rug. There was barely any light. The bar staff's charges seemed inconsistent, and it felt sneaky and completely unprofessional. Breakfast the next morning was $22 or more per person, a waste of money. Do not stay or book here.
