Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel

After two hours on the reservation line with no progress, I was exhausted and close to tears over booking accommodations for our upcoming trip. The agent finally suggested I call the front desk. Jasmine picked up, listened to what was wrong, and immediately got focused on fixing our accommodations. She was wonderful, and got me excited about the trip again when I’d nearly decided to cancel. Her enthusiasm made it clear she’s proud of her work and company. It’s rare to get help from someone who truly loves what they do. Thank you, Jasmine, for going above and beyond and being such a breath of fresh air. I haven’t stayed at the hotel yet, so I can’t speak to the actual visit. If I don’t update this review, everything went well. If we come to Texas again, we’ll definitely look to book here.

After a long day of travel, Jasmyn turned a stressful arrival into a great start to our stay. We’d reserved connecting rooms for our family of six, but that wasn’t what had been set up. She patiently worked out accommodations that fit our needs and made sure we’d be comfortable. She was kind and professional, and clearly cared about helping us. We did enjoy our stay and would come back. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and despite what seemed like a cheer convention appearing around every corner, the hotel wasn’t especially noisy. Breakfast was an ordinary buffet, and the staff there were fine. We didn’t need to interact with anyone else. Check-in felt strange. The front desk gave me Apple Store vibes, and the man who checked me in seemed to rush and drag things out at once, as if he was suspicious of me. I’m not sure what was going on there. The pillows also felt like they used to be cotton candy, which wasn’t much fun. Still, it’s a great hotel overall.

We went to a New Year’s Eve event at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel, and it was fantastic. Before we even checked out, we were already saying we should do it again. The hotel feels upscale but relaxed, and the staff were truly friendly. Our room was lovely, and I especially liked the atrium, with the rooms facing inward. The views are gorgeous and give the place a dramatic, modern feel without overdoing it. Classy, fun, and well done. A great Dallas choice whether you’re staying overnight or dressing up for an event.
